We understand that people would rather remain independent, but that they sometimes have setbacks and need some short term support to give them back their confidence in the skills they already have, or to advise them on different ways of doing things in order to remain independent. 

This is where we can help – we have experienced staff, trained to offer this type of support.  We work with the individual on the type of support they require, the outcomes they require and the time it should take, once agreed a written plan will then be made.  However, all this is flexible and can be changed to suit the person and their needs.

The service will be closely monitored, and when the person feels confident we will withdraw this will then be a success for us.

It may be that the person stills needs some permanent support but that they need less because they can now manage some things for themselves, or it may be that they need more support in the future and we hope they will think of us when deciding who to choose.
