Scott Care Ltd is sponsoring Jamie Paradoe of sheerness Kent, to run 1100 miles from Lands End to John O’ Groats in aid of the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust at Medway Maritime Hospital.
Jamie’s two boys were both born prematurely with breathing difficulties. He will complete the run in aid of this charity in late summer this year & is training hard.
Scott Care Ltd have sponsored & supplied his running clothing & equipment. We wish Jamie the very best of luck! We will keep you posted with Jamie’s progress.

Happy New Year! We hope all of our readers had a happy and safe Christmas and New Year. We have been hard at work over the last few months and are pleased to announce that we have been awarded two additional contracts by local authorities.
We are opening a new Day Care Centre in Cranbrook, Kent (please see Day Care page for more information. Our new Day Care page has been made live today and we will keep it updated with Day Care information and pictures.

Julie Scott (MD) & Anthony Scott (Director) have completed the 3 peak challenge between 27/05/10 to 29/05/10! The National Three Peaks Challenge is a well known phrase amongst the more adventurous. This challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. Whilst on their journey across the 3 mountains they encountered rain, hail and snow not to mention a blizzard at the summit of Ben Nevis, roll on the summer! Well done Julie & Anthony!

Scott Care Ltd is delighted to announce that we are attending the Contracting
for Personalised Outcomes Seminar in Reading on 29th January along with Medway
Council. Scott Care will be the first domiciliary home care provider from Medway
to attend this seminar.

We hope you are all keeping safe in the severe weather throughout Kent and
indeed the UK. We have been using our company 4x4 vehicles to continue care
provisions during the severe weather.
1st January
Happy New Year! During early 2010 we will be opening another branch in
Sittingbourne due to company growth. We will be expanding our services into
Swale and surrounding areas. For job opportunities please see our Job Vacancies
page. Grant Baker will be the Service Manager for the Sittingbourne branch.
Marion Aldridge is our new Service Manager in our Medway office. Marion has a
wealth of experience as a Service Manager in home care working with a variety of
service user groups.
We have been informed that more bad weather is expected throughout Kent so
please make sure you are all safe and monitor weather reports frequently.
The BBC today (6th Jan 2010) announced on their website that millions of
pensioners and vulnerable people around the UK have become eligible for 'Cold
Weather Payments' where there will be a £25 a week assistance allowance. For

The Department of Health has released 'Keep Warm Keep Well' information on
their website that contains lots of useful information on keeping warm during
cold weather. During November we sent this information out to all of our service
