Homecare Provider of the Year Winners
We are delighted to announce, we won Homecare Provider of the Year in the “A Better Medway” awards. Press release below:
Local homecare provider, Scott Care Ltd, were invited to attend the “A Better Medway” awards ceremony after receiving four nominations.
The awards evening is an initiative hosted by Medway Council, to celebrate local shining stars and success stories within the public health sector.
Three individual carers from Scott Care Ltd were nominated, Kelly Norley for Carer of the Year, Lesley Hammond for Unsung Hero, and Shelly Suckling for Making a Difference. All of the ladies attended the awards evening held in the prestigious Corn Exchange in Rochester High Street, with all three of them receiving a commendable runner up status. Scott Care Ltd went on to win the Homecare Provider of the Year 2021 award, a huge achievement for the family run business to certainly be proud of.
Adam Hannah, Director at Scott Care Ltd, told us, “We are over the moon with our award! When we were first notified of the votes received across four nomination categories we were delighted, as the recognition within our challenging industry was fantastic news. But to go on and win Homecare Provider of the Year, makes are so proud of all our teams across Kent. Our staff work tirelessly to ensure the service and care we provide is second to none, we know how much difference it can make to vulnerable individuals who rely on us to visit them at home. Often, we may be the only face they have seen that day. Our staff know this and invest time into building those caring and all important relationships.
It has been an incredibly difficult time for our industry sector over the last 18 months, so we are incredibly proud of this award and would like to except it for all of those selfless carers working around the clock to keep Medway safe.”
Medway Council are planning to host this award ceremony annually, to continue to celebrate important achievements in the health sector across our community.
