Medway Branch

Care Coordinator – Salary £18,350 P.A rising to £19,312 after 3 months

We are recruiting for a Care Coordinator. With a team of care workers to lead, you’ll supervise, manage and monitor their progress. You will be primarily office based at our Medway office, coordinating care visits using our computer system, but when the need arises you will be also working in the community conducting care duties, undertaking staff & service user reviews & assessments.

Requirements of a Care Coordinator

Availability to work 06:00 to 14:00 and / or 14:00 to 22:00, including some weekends

Responsibilities of a Care Coordinator

Supervising your Team of Care Workers

Creating a plan for service users care
N
Carrying out assessments & reviews for service users

Liaising with professionals

Carrying out care duties when required

This role is shift based on a 06:00 to 14:00, 09.00 – 17.00 and 14:00 to 22:00 system . This will involve working some weekends. You may also be involved with out of hours on call. Please do not apply if you cannot work across these hours.

You will need to be logistical as you communicate with Service Users and Care Workers to arrange care visits at the times requested.

You will be caring for adults and elderly people, making a difference to their lives. Sometimes you are the only contact the person has from one day to the next.

We are able to offer as many or as few hours as you like, around the hours of our care delivery, including early mornings, evenings, bed time and weekends. You need to be committed to your role, which will in turn offer continuity to our service users.

We have full time rounds of work available and also part time rounds during the week and weekends. Ideal for people who are working a main job or have family commitments during the week, but have some time to spare at the weekends. If it’s only a few hours on a regular basis we can offer you work once we have trained you.

Salaried Care Worker – £18,928 PA

We are recruiting for an exciting new role within Scott Care! We are looking for someone with previous care experience to become our Salaried Care Assistant for the Isle of Sheppey and Sittingbourne areas.

You will need to be able to work 40 hours per week (includes travel time), which will involve working some weekends, caring for adults and elderly people in their own homes, making a difference to their lives.

Live in Care Worker

Scott Care is a family run Care Provider in Kent, providing high quality care services and staffing solutions working with Medway Council and Kent County Council. We are expanding our services and require a Live in Care Worker to join our team.

As a Live in Care Worker you will be living in the service users home, alongside them to assist them in their daily tasks, maintaining their independence. Tasks will include personal care, domestic duties, trips out shopping and accompanying service users to their appointments.

Previous care experience is essential. Applicants are subject to a DBS Check (formally CRB).
